Encouraging children with autism and their parents to have fun with the hard stuff

We’re inviting parents to help an author create personalised, engaging stories for children aged 5–7 on the autistic spectrum, using your insights, and a little help from AI.

What’s the study About?

This research explores how parents and authors can work together, with help from advanced language tools, to create stories that truly reflect each child’s interests, needs, and imagination.

What You’ll Do

  • Tell the researcher (me!) about your child’s likes, dislikes, and needs
  • Collaborate with an author to help shape a story for your child
  • Give feedback on the story and your experience

Why Join?

As a participant, you’ll be asked to:

  • Get 3 or 4 custom stories just for your child
  • Contribute to research supporting storytelling for children on the autistic spectrum
  • Discover creative, inclusive ways to tell stories
